Super Mario Mushroom Cake

mario mushroom birthday cake!
first big cake I've ever made. created from scratch for my boyfriend's birthday. It's 5 layers of vanilla victoria sponge with jam and cream inbetween then a layer of buttercream and fondant ontop. It doesn't matter if you can't afford expensive cake moulds! Make it up as you go along! This was actually a measuring jug for the base and a bowl for the top of the mushroom. I even had to cook the measuring jug in the microwave as it wasn't ovensafe!
