Great use for left over FX latex from halloween
Great use for left over FX latex from halloween
find stick on design you like the brodered ones I like but other materials work
place carefully not to near you eyes latex has fumes AND is not something you want to get in your eye.
Make sure its attached ---if reusing coat back with latex and allow to almost dry so its tacky
coat the design with latex this will help it stick
as you run ut of latex fan it out by tapping around the edges - don't need to make it huge we're just smoothing out the line between the deign and our skin
go over whole design coating it smoothly with latex
allow to dry
you can blow dry it - just be careful this is your face after all
once its dry its rather clear and a tad shiny dust with powder Your normal color would be best
I did silver highlights
and went over in black You can use concealer carefully instead your face - your art
right above the q tip you can see where I got some black inside the design
take a clean q tip and roll in your poder
press tip into area for touch up do not rub - Tap and turn so you don't spread a little mistake and ruin design
finished desin needs almost NO blending if you think you need to blend if yours doesn't turn out as well coat finger tips in consealed tap them over the edges of the blended latex it takes color very diffrently then skin so careful s quick here
it will stay on a very long time Feels like a bandaid this is a great base to attach fake floweres, leaves or feathers to. sea shells whatever
just an example please don't Pin things to your face and wear it that way (I could have sewn this on...)
Good times yes these re reuseable pull off carefully remove as much of the make up and latex as possible I store in folded over wax paper in zip locks but I tend not to bother reusing.
You can always change the look by a quick recating of the design in another color - or glitter Happy Belated Birthday to one of Seattle's very own fairy godmothers Lonness Valenna this one is for you! Gender Alliance of the South Sound
