My Ds needed a case and I thought I should make one instead of buying one. You can change the color of the felt, thread, buttons and the design if you want!
My Ds needed a case and I thought I should make one instead of buying one. You can change the color of the felt, thread, buttons and the design if you want!
Find the size you want your case and cut any unnecessary felt.
Fold one half to leave enough space to cover your ds. Then sew with invisible thread or any color of you choice.
Sew the edges with the pink thread.
Place you pink button in the center of your case and then sew. <------ cut a hole there big enough to fit your button.
Finally sew on any decoration you would like on the back! To make this design sew the large yellow button that will be the base of your "sun" on the top right corner and then sew on the small yellow buttons around it. (use the yellow thread for this)Then on the bottom left of the case sew on what will be the body of your "turtle" then sew 2 small green buttons for its legs. Then sew its head on. Finally sew the last green button below its head. Now you are finished! Enjoy!
