Getting Crafty with Sugru
I was sent some 'sugru' to try out. It has so many practical uses such as making a hook for they keys to my jewellery cabinet (no more leaving home without that perfect accessory) also fixing a brush head that had snapped off my fancy spinning mop (sparkly floors once more) but what really inspired me was a failed craft attempt i'd encountered a few weeks ago.

I was making a little dish out of clay and decided with the leftover bits I'd make flowers for a necklace. The flowers were far to heavy and cracked the first time i knocked it - bugger. So when I saw the sugru could be moulded the same way you would mould clay or play-doh but sets like silicone I was excited to rectify my mistake. I was quick to dig out an old necklace, some bobby pins and a rather uninspiring plastic ring. As you can see in the pics I moulded some flowers and leaves and simply stuck them to my items, left them over night to set and hey presto doesn't that necklace perfectly finish my outfit today! This product is versatile and easy to use and I'm sure I've found just one of a million things you could do with it :)

I love the tiny roses! I think I'd make a brooch or sweater clips.

This is so cute! I esp. love the ring. I'm going to have to try this with polymer clay. Love
