About
I made this mask last October for my Halloween costume. It is inspired by Frida Kahlo and sugar skulls. It's light weight and has a ribbon tie to keep it in place.

You Will Need (5 things)
- 1 I used one blank plastic mask as the form to build my paper on. I altered the original form while I built up the paper (added brow line and cheek bones) Mask Form
- Use the tissue paper to build over the mask form. You can use what ever method you like best. I go with glue and water. Tissue Paper
- I used fabric paint to add dimension and gave the mask a sugar skull style design. Fabric Paint
- When the painting was done I gave the mask a couple of coats of gloss finish. Gloss
- 2 I used to pieces of ribbon to make atie for the mask. The ribbon color is coordinated with the paint. I tied a knot through a hole on each side and there's enough length to make a bow in the back. Ribbon
