So I don't know if this is the proper way to make them, it's probably not, but they taste the same :)
And they're so easy it's crazy :D

You Will Need (8 things)

  • 1 Egg White
  • 4 Vanilla Essence
  • 3 Food Colourings
  • Electric Beater
  • Baking Paper
  • About 200 grams Icing Sugar make sure it's icing SUGAR not icing MIXTURE!
  • 1 Ziplock Bag
  • 1 Baking Tray

Steps (7 steps, 60 minutes)

  1. 1

Beat the egg white until soft and fluffy.
When you lift the beaters up, there should be peaks forming.

Mix the vanilla essence and food colouring in. I always think pastel colours look best with these, but its up to you :)

  2. 2

Slowly beat the icing sugar in, using as much as you need until its beats easily with the beater, but it's slightly difficult to mix by hand.
    If that makes sense?

  3. 3

Clip a zip lock bag to a draw or door handle, and scoop the icing into one of the bottom corners.

  4. 4

Smoosh all the icing down into the corner and twist the bag around tightly.

Snip about half a centimeter off the corner of the bag. Be careful not to cut too much off, or it gets really messy.

  5. 5

Put the baking paper onto the baking tray and start piping your eggs on.

The first few usually look really weird until you get the hang of it :)

You don't have to make eggs, you can make pretty much any shape you want, and they can be all different colours.

  6. 6

If your really bad at free hand shapes, you can draw shapes onto the other side of the paper in pencil then pipe your icing on the other side :)

After your happy with the shapes, put them in the fridge.

It depends on how cold your fridge gets (don't freeze them, they taste REALLY gross!) but I usually leave mine in over night.
Just make sure they're hard before you pick them up :)

  7. 7

Oh and they look REALLY weird and retarded until they finish setting :)

    So you know. Lol
They look all, stringy? I guess.
But they blend in and stuff and then they end up smooth :)
