i made this set of clips for a birthday gift.
make two puffs per hair clip - i made a 1.5" and a 2" puff to make the puff cut out a circle twice as big as the finished puff eg: 4" circle makes a 2" puff - fold over a small hem as you sew all the way around the circle then draw the threads together tightly and tie off securely.
make two puffs and sew together adding a button to the middle to hide the hole - then sew a hair clip securely on to the back of the puff/button stack. easy!
