Instructions

Supplies: Long nose pliers Hammer Something sharp and pokey (a dart works well too) Studs – Bought these from Kit Kraft. Really good customer service, I originally ordered 1/4 inch and they were way too small so I returned them and got the 3/8 inch within days. Medical tape (to line the inside of the sneakers when you are done)

The studs I chose are brass and have 6 prongs which you fold over the back. The half moon on the back of the shoe was the hardest part. Its thick enough that the prongs wont poke through the other side, so I resorted to hitting them with a hammer from the inside, to attempt to bend them in between the material. It resulted in some flat studs, but they kept falling out so whatever.

Once you are past the heel, simply push the studs through and bend each prong over to secure the stud. This part hurt my hands and chipped my nail polish, but all in the name of fashion. Line the inside with the medical tape so that the sharp edges of the studs don't cut your ankles. Enjoy!
