Stud, Earrings, Jewelery Box
My hole Earstud-Collection was a huge mess.
So i came up with this idea. I thought about using foam rubber first, but i had some felt left so i tried this first and it works great.

My little box here is about 6cm in diameter.

  • Step 1

I just finished making this little box for my earstuds.

If you want to make one for yourself (or others) you'll need:

    - a box: what ever size, shape, clear or not, just as you like it! - but it should have a lit and it should be a bit higher than your studs.
    - some thick felt, mine is about 5mm thick (you'll need enough for two layers inside your box)
    - some glue
    - needle (i used my felt needle, because its very sharp which makes it easier to get through the felt)
    - a pen (if you like)

  • Step 2

You have to cut out two layers of felt so they fit smoothly in your box.

Take a bit (!) glue and glue them together, now wait until dry.

  • Step 3

Now you need your needle to pre-hole the felt. You need to get the hole through both layers. (But be careful with your fingers!)

Make sure there's enough space between them.

And if you like you can mark the hole with your pen. (I took a pencil) - just to see where the holes are.

    Ad your studs and enjoy!
