Instructions

  1. Small materials 201

Gather materials and thread your needle.

  2. Small dscn4948

Fold your 8" piece of elastic as shown.

  3. Small dscn4951

Once you think it's the right size cuff, pin it together.

  4. Small dscn4953

Sew elastic to create the cuff. We hand stitched a simple rectangle to be sure the cuff is sturdy.

Here is what the cuff looks like after sewing.

  6. Small dscn4957

Try it on for size before we begin studding.

  7. Small dscn4958

Choose a starting point. Ours was at the seam, on one layer of elastic. We then pushed the stud in.

  8. Small dscn4961

Fold prongs with your nails, finger tips, scissor or plyers. They are easy to bend by hand.

  9. Small dscn4963

Continue studding your bracelet as shown...

After finishing side #1, begin on the other side.

    Once finished, try it on!!

  13. Small finito

Since the elastic is sold by the yard, and the studs come in a pack of 100, you can make 4 of these for yourself or friends!
