I made this one for me, using the same process as the one I made for my brother. So warm! :) NOTE: I am short. So 1.5 yards is a nice size for a large-ish throw/blanket. If you are looking for a bed covering I would say go with 2 yards, which is 6 feet. Chili Pepper Fleece Blanket - How To: http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/chili-pepper-fleece-blanket

Instructions

  1. Take your two pieces of fleece and put them right sides together. Or wrong sides outward.

  2. Pin one side and sew it together.

  3. Do this for two more sides.

  4. On the last (forth) side, sew as you did the others but leave a 4 or 5 inch opening at the end.

  5. Pull the blanket right ways out through the opening. Like you are making a GIGANTIC pillow.

  6. Poke your finger through the hole and push the corners out so they aren't squished inside.

  7. Sew up the opening.

  8. Now, you can stop here or add some quilt stitching (diagonals and boxes). Now Stay Warm! =^_^=
