I like to make lots of stepping stones for my yard. It's (Very Artsy). You can do this with children and it's cheaper then buying those stepping stones kits you see at walmart or art store. You can make lots more this way. All togather out of one concrete bag, I made Three big stones and 7 medium and two small ones for my garden. Small ones I put my pup paw print in them.

your going to need Glass stones lots. you can get these at a dallor store. they are the glass beads that you see in fist tanks
Then you need a plastic plant sauers. I got this medium one for 70c at walmart.
A bag of Concrete mix, I use Quikrete red bag for under 5.oo dallor,
I use four cups of concrete in a big bowl for medium sauer. and five cups for big sauers. I have to play with water and concrete to find out what I need so you may have to do the same
ok water. It's the concrete is to wet add little more concrete, is the concrete is dry add little water untell looks good. you don't want it to dry it dry fast and to wet the beads well sink in. So concrete is picky. We all know that
Pour in concrete into sauer pan.
pat it in evenly so it looks like
A mud pie. Who want pie lol
here the fun part. start adding you glass stones any way you like them. I like doing flowers or just glass beads anywhere. looks so pretty. you can use any thing flat like hands,paw prints or paint them. I even seen them ingaved. you can write saying like (stay out of my weeds garden)or (home where the heart is ). have fun with it.
I like using the flat side of the glass stone. It's better on feets. o And don't worry about get the glass stone muddy. you clean them up when they are dry.
Now you have a pretty stepping stone for your yard. don't move it to much. and let it dry over night and take off plastic sauers. Than let them dry that day. spray some water on them. I hear it make them stronter. you may get two use out of the plant sauers. I tape cracks and good to go sec time around. Have fun making your stone.
