Make a fun shirt in less than an hour!
I've been having fun using freezer paper to make a stencil outline, ironing it to a T-shirt, filling in the space with cheap wood letters from Target, and spritzing it with bleach.

Not bad for a boy.

Sure. I had a how-to on Flickr that I imported to Cut Out + Keep. All these shirts were made via the same process.

Just look in my projects for it.

They hold up extremely well in the wash. I am careful to not leave the bleach on for more then a minute. Any longer would probably weaken the fabric. Once it starts to lighten, it's done. It'll actually lighten a bit more in the wash.

The Tea Snob shirt is worn weekly and has been washed dozens of times. The design shouldn't go away unless you wash the shirt so many times that the rest of the shirt fades to match the bleached areas. Happy

For me, I'm not patient enough to cut out a detailed stencil. So, using the stencil as just an outline, and adding words inside, works really well.
