This could make a nice decoration, card, or ornament.
Cut your paper into a square. Fold the paper in half into a triangle, colored side in (if it is colored).
Fold the top corner down to make another triangle.
Fold the triangle into thirds, starting on the left side...
...and then the right side.
Flip the folded paper over and cut the excess parts off so you end up with a triangle.
Draw your design on the triangle. For a steampunk design, add some cogs.
Cut out the design.
Unfold, and your steampunk snowflake is done!
