what I did for these goggles was use 2 glass jar lids for the lenses... you can't see through them, and they are heavy, but they look cool :) these came on the jars with a wire closure that seals the jar, you want those wires that come with it for the nose piece and to connect the strap (I got mine at Hobby Lobby) you don't need the rubbery piece or the wire that's around the jar itself, but you do need the oval shaped connector that is attached to the wire around the jar. separate the lids from the jars, and work with the side that has a squarish shape, not the side with 2 prongs, and some beading wire, secure those together to attach them, now your lenses are connected by the nose piece. hot glue some vinyl scraps around that to hide the wire mess :) take the oval shaped connector, use some pliers to unbend it, then bend it closed again so that it is connecting the 2 prongs on the outer edges of the lid/lens. you can see how it's closed up on the pics without the strap (if that makes any sense at all!) get some cardboard and cut and form the shape to go around the outside of the lens (where the spikes are) don't worry about bending the cardboard, it's going to be covered. glue vinyl over the cardboard on both sides, if you want spikes, poke holes and screw them in place, then glue that to the outer edge of the lid/lens. you can see this in the pic where I'm holding them Sew your strap out of vinyl, add grommets or whatever you like. I was lazy and didn't make mine adjustable, but that's definitely the way to go. I sewed some elastic into the ends of the strap, then sewed that closed around the wire at the outer edge of the goggles tada! goggles :)
