Some ear studs I've made. I got the gears for those from ebay, they can get quite pricey, though.
Some ear studs I've made. I got the gears for those from ebay, they can get quite pricey, though.
Take two larger gears, the kind without spokes (?) and put some adhesive to the backside to cover the hole in the middle.
Put some diamond glaze on the gears and carefully place smaller gears on it as decoration. You can also use other small clock parts like screws. Let the diamond glaze try.
Carefully remove the adhesive tape and glue the ear stud findings onto the backside.
If you'd rather use earhooks instead of studs you can glue eye pins to the gears and attatch them to earhooks.
