Got invited to a Star Wars themed birthday party so we decided to make our son into a lil jawa and maybe he can wear it for halloween or something.

Got invited to a Star Wars themed birthday party so we decided to make our son into a lil jawa and maybe he can wear it for halloween or something.

Instructions

1. 

   I started off by laying down my fabric right sides touching and then folded that so I have all four layers. Placed my sons jacket over and added a few more inches and belled it out all the way to the bottom.

2. 

   I cut and the only part you have to sew are the sides. The shoulders should be attached by the fabric itself. If not its probably because of the way you fold it, you'll just have to sew it up if anything.

3. 

   I folded the fabric in and pined around the collar. Sew around. Dont forget to reinforce .

4. 

   Get your fabric lay the sleeve and trace, add extra for seam allowance, cut and sew. Attach at the arm holes of the robe, pretty sides facing each other.

5. 

   Do the same with the hood but at the end , instead of a curve just point it out as you can see on the photo. Cut and sew, attach at the collar with the pretty sides touching.

6. 

   If you cant fold in the fabric to sew a heam just zig zag the edges for an easy finish. Do that to sleeves, brim of the hood and the bottom of the robe for hem.

7. 

   We found these halloween lights at our nearest dollar tree , taped five lights on each side and glued it to a cap our son already had.

8. 

   And done, he loved it so much it was hard to get him out of it lol
