Turn sqwishland or sqwinkie creatures into cute, colorful charms!
I've become obsessed with the sqwishland pencil topper animals in the 25 cent machines at the mall. I've collected over 100 of them and they have been sitting on my desk. I decided to put them to use by making them into charms!

Now I can show off my collection to everyone in a non-creepy way!

Tell me in the comments if you would like me to add pictures. I thought the project was simple enough so I didn't add any.

This project was posted on the official Sqwishland website. Check it out!

  • Step 1

The first thing you're going to do is figure out how long you want your chain to be. Cut it with your wire to the correct size.

  • Step 2

Now either add your clasp to the end of the chain by opening the wire with your finger (if your metal is soft enough) or your pliers.

If your clasp doesn't have a wire that can be pulled apart, than add one of the jump rings to connect the chain to the clasp.

  • Step 3

Now is the sad part. You will need to stab your squishie.

Take the wire with the eye and push it through your squishie.

If it won't go through, take your wire cutters and cut the wire on an angle so it looks like a spear and push it through.

  • Step 4

Cut the wire sticking out under your squishie but leave a little bit left so we can bend it.

Now take your finger or pliers and bend the wire into an L shape inside the animal (the pencil hole area) so that it won't slide off the wire.

  • Step 5

    Almost done!

Now take a jump ring and attach the squishie to the chain!

  • How to make a necklace. Squishie (Sqwinkie, Sqwishland) Necklace - Step 6
    Step 6

Following steps 3,4 and 5, make more squishie charms to add to your necklace!

I made two so far. The shorter one is the farm animal theme, and the longer one is the sea mania theme!

Play around with the jump rings and beads to make your necklace classy. ;3

Aww! We don't have these in the UK. They look awesomely cute, and this make is so inventive.
Although, thinking about it I work in a school, so I bet if they did sell them over here I'd have to stop teenagers throwing them at one another, so the sacrifice may be worth it! ;)

I have the Cinderella set! They have the Cinderella in rags, the blue dress, and the wedding dress...I'm really wanting a Belle set for Christmas. :3 They'd make cute bracelets!
