Awesome! I love this idea. But what I Will probably do is spray paint all over, and then draw all over the paint [I have this clear paint that makes the surface able to draw on ]

How I love this!!!!! wonderful idea!!!! perhaps I need to try this sooner than later, but I have so much on my craft-to-do list.....I will definately add it though!
The paint WILL crack eventually. I´ve always been a fan of worn surfaces so for me it´s just better. But think of it this way, the shoes you will paint are propably the kind that you have not worn in a looong time. Spraypainting them will add times you are able to use them! Plus you can always re-paint the heel and shoetip when they get worn-looking if you leave some paint in the can. I´ve been able to paint 3-4 pairs of shoes from just one spray can.
maybe i'll punk out some boring old thrift shop shoes or something...
