How well does the acrylic paint stay? I looked it up and a lot of the places I found it says you need an adhesive for "best results." What is your opinion from doing the paint splattered shirt?

I have made shirts like this, and instead of acrylic paint i used that puffy paint in the little squeeze tubes, and if you water it down with a few drops of water, its just like regular paint, but it stays on better in the wash. Cute shirt by the way!
