sweet and spicy honey chicken wings
I love chicken wings. This is an experiment that turned out well. Its a bit on the spicy side, but has honey in it to balance it out. If you try it, please leave a comment and let me know what you think of it :)
Clean the wings and pat them dry.
In a bowl ( if you are going to fry them immediately) or in a zip-lock(if you are going to freeze them for later) add all the ingredients except the coriander leaves and the oil.
Toss them with the chicken. See that they well coated with the marinade.
If you are going to fry some other time go ahead and freeze it. If you want to fry it immediately, refrigerate it for at least half an hour.
The longer you refrigerate, the better the flavours will be absorbed.
Heat oil in a pan.
Add the wings along with all the marination and fry it till cooked thoroughly. this usually takes about 7-10 minutes
Garnish with coriander, cilantro or parsley leaves
You can also grill or microwave instead of cooking on the pan.
