Description

my poor girl interpretation of Domestic Fits' Avocado Witches Fingers. Easy peasy & super delicious as h'orderves at your next shindig or a late night snack.

Instructions

  1. Small dsc02361

    gather your ingredients!

  2. Small dsc02365

Now pit, peel & cut your avocados into slices (totally NOT as easy as it seems). I also took a spoon & made a little circular pit for the sections not affected by the pitting (not entirely necessary but made a place for the the cheese to sit nicely in). As you can see they are a little wonky looking, but that won't really matter much by the end- promise!

  3. Small dsc02370

The original recipe calls for chili pepper but we didn't have that in the cabinet so we decided that the red pepper would suffice

  4. Small dsc02367

Sprinkle the avocados with the red pepper for a little punch

  5. Small dsc02373

Time to bust out the goat cheese! The original recipe calls for 1/2 or 1/4 tsp per avocado slice but I did it by eye. It is not only yummy, but cancels out the hot pepper & adds a creamy texture to the whole recipe, so don't skimp on it!

  6. Small theend

Now take your prosciutto and cut it to size (enough to fit around the center of the avocado & cheese, but still exposing the ends), and wrap those suckers! If cutting just doesn't *ahem* cut it (prosciutto is a knife's worst enemy), just fold the sides of the prosciutto inward until you get your perfect size, wrap around the avocado with folded sides face down, overlap the ends... & fin!
