    Body Using 3.75mm hook. Use stitch markers for beg row, inc and dec sts (as pictured). Rnd 1: start 6 sc in magic ring. Or Ch 2 and 6 sc in second ch from hook. Rnd 2: inc in each st (12 sts). Rnd 3: [inc3, sc in next 2 sts] repeat 4 times (20 sts). Rnd 4: sc, [inc3, sc in next 4 sts] repeat 3 times, inc3, sc in next 3 sts (28 sts). Rnd 5: sc in next 2 sts, [inc3, sc in next 6 sts] repeat 3 times, inc3, sc in next 4 sts (36 sts). Rnd 6: sc in next 3 sts, [inc, sc in next 8 sts] repeat 3 times, inc, sc in next 5 sts (40 sts). Rnds 7-14: sc in all sts (40 sts). Rnd 15: sc in next 5 sts, [dec, sc in next 8 sts] repeat 3 times, dec, sc in next 3 sts (36 sts). Rnds 16-17: sc in all sts (36 sts). Rnd 18: sc in next 5 sts [dec, sc in next 7 sts] repeat 3 times, dec, sc in next 2 sts (32 sts). Rnd 19: sc in all sts (32 sts). Rnd 20: sc in next 5 sts, [dec, sc in next 6 sts] repeat 3 times, dec, sc in next st (28 sts). Rnd 21: sc in all sts (28 sts) Rnd 22: [sc in next 5 sts, dec] repeat 4 times (24 sts). Begin to stuff whale. Attach safety eyes (I used 6mm eyes) between rows 15 and 16 around 8th st for first eye and around 31st st for second eye (as pictured).

    Rnd 23: sc in next 10 sts, dec, sc in next 2 sts, dec, sc in next 2 sts, dec, sc in next 4 sts (21 sts). Rnd 24: sc in next 11 sts, dec, sc in next 2 sts, dec, sc in next 4 sts (19 sts). Rnd 25: sc in next 7 sts, dec, sc in next 3 sts, dec, sc in next 3 sts, dec (16 sts). Rnd 26: sc in next 6 sts, dec, sc in next 2 sts, dec, sc in next 2 sts, dec (13 sts). Rnd 27: sc in next 9 sts, dec, sc in next 2 sts (12 sts). Rnd 28: sc in each st (12 sts). Rnd 29: [sc, dec] repeat 4 times (8 sts). Rnd 30: dec 4 times (4 sts). Dec to close, making sure body has enough stuffing. Fasten off and weave in ends.

  3. Flukes – Make 2 Using 3.00mm hook Rnd 1: start 4 sc in magic ring. Or Ch 2 and 4 sc in second ch from hook. Rnd 2: [sc, inc] repeat 2 times (6 sts). Rnd 3: sc in each st (6 sts). Rnd 4: inc in each st (12 sts). Rnd 5: dec, sc in next 4 sts, inc, sc in next 5 sts (12 sts). Rnd 6: dec, sc in next 3 sts, inc in next 2 sts, sc in next 5 sts (13 sts). Rnd 7: dec, sc in next 4 sts, inc, sc in next 6 sts (13 sts). Rnd 8: sc in each st (13 sts). Fasten off and leave tail for sewing to body.

  4. Fins – Make 2 Using 3.00mm hook Rnd 1: start 4 sc in magic ring. Or Ch 2 and 4 sc in second ch from hook. Rnd 2: inc in each st (8 sts). Rnds 3-6: sc in each st (8 sts). Fasten off and attach to body.
