Simply sweet southern pecan pie!
After attending pastry school I took the time to prefect this versatile pecan pie that can be made many ways to please anyone!

Step 1Preheat over to 350°F, make sure baking rack is in the middle of oven.
Gather all equipment and ingredients needed.
Combine all ingredients except pecans, and chocolate chips if you choose to use them.

Step 2Roll out and place pie crust in pie dish and crimp edges with a fork, add pecans and chocolate chips.
Pour liquid mixture over pecans/chocolate chips.
Place in center of the oven for 20-40 minutes or until center is set (doesn't giggle when you gently shake the pie).

Step 3Once done take pie out of oven and let cool.
Best served with vanilla ice cream or fresh whipped cream!
