Description

If you know how to turn a simple loop, you will be able to complete this project. All you need are some round nosed pliers, some flat nosed pliers and some cutters. The semi-precious beads are from a wide selection at www.jewellerymaker.com and the fancy silver connectors can be found at www.rareflair.co.uk

Instructions

  1. Small 113105 2f2016 01 24 203432 1

Cut six lengths of chain approximately 7”/18cm long or the right length for your wrist. Add a 6mm jump ring to one end of each of the chain lengths. Attach these rings to the loops on one part of the 6-strand connector clasp.

  2. Small 113105 2f2016 01 24 203524 2

Take an eyepin and thread on a 3mm Sodalite round. Thread on link three of the first (outer) chain then a 3mm White Agate round followed by link three of the second chain. Add another 3mm Sodalite round, the three link of the third chain, a 3mm White Agate round, the third link of the fourth chain, a Sodalite Round, the third link of the fifth chain, a White Agate round, the third link of the sixth chain, finishing with a Sodalite round. Trim and turn a loop to secure the beads.

  3. Small 113105 2f2016 01 24 203548 3

Leaving five empty links of chain this time, take another eyepin and thread it with beads and chain as in step 2, this time starting with a White Agate round. You will end up with two beaded eyepins with five links of clear chain between them.

  4. Small 113105 2f2016 01 24 203619 4

Keep adding more beaded eyepins until you reach the desired length for your bracelet. Remember to allow for three empty links on the chains (after the last beaded eyepin and before the other part of the 6-strand connector clasp).

  5. Small 113105 2f2016 01 24 203643 5

Trim the chains and attach to the connector clasp using 6mm jump rings.

  6. Small 113105 2f2016 01 24 203737 6

Now you can add the first of the bead dangles. Thread an 8mm Sodalite round onto a headpin and turn a loop above to secure the bead. Make the same number of Sodalite dangles as there are beaded eyepins in your bracelet. Attach them to the outer loops of the beaded eyepins on your bracelet, alternating between top and bottom.

  7. Small 113105 2f2016 01 24 203810 7

Create the same number of 8mm White Agate bead dangles and attach them to the remaining empty outer loops on the beaded eyepins as shown.

  8. Small 113105 2f2016 01 24 203827 8

Next, create another set of 8mm White Agate bead dangles (one less than the number of beaded eyepins in your bracelet). Attach these to the chains midway between the beaded eyepins. Add them to different chains to create a ‘wave’ across the bracelet as shown.

  9. Small 113105 2f2016 01 24 203915 9

Create a set of 8mm Sodalite bead dangles (one less than the number of beaded eyepins in your bracelet). Attach them to the chains between the beaded eyepins and at different heights as shown.

  10. Small 113105 2f2016 01 24 203941 10

Now add the final bead dangles to the clasp area. An 8mm White Agate and 8mm Sodalite dangle on each side and one of each on the empty chain sections between the last beaded eyepin and the clasp as shown.
