You can make many mittens from one set of sweatpants! SImply place your hand with your fingers together on the waist band and trace around them with a comfortable border in dress-makers chalk. Cut outside the chalk line, place right sides together and sew. I used a men's size large sweatpants for this project. It snows in the winter where I live. By "it snows", I mean that we have sudden blizzards, drifts, and snow days (yay!). Some things that have completely frozen over include streams, the ground, and my steering wheel. I wouldn't leave the house without these warm, fuzzy smittens! They keep my hands nice and toasty during the drive to school.
