  • Step 1

    Base:
Make a magic circle and hdc 6 sts, chain 2, and join in a ring.
Round 1: 2 HDC in each sts (12) chain 2
Round 2: 2 HDC in every other sts (18) chain 2
Round 3: 2 HDC in every third sts (24) chain 2
Round 4: 2 HDC in every fourth sts (30) chain 2

  • Step 2

    Body:
Continue to work HDC around until the cozy reaches your desired length. Slip stitch every stitch making sure it's tight, but not too tight to fit your bottle. Don't break last stitch.

  • Step 3

    Strap:
Chain 122 sts (or desired length for shoulder strap). Skip first 2 sts, HDC in all subsequent sts. Slip stitch into the cozy, chain 2 to turn, HDC all sts.
Chain 5 and slip stitch to create buttonhole.
    Break yarn.

  • Step 4

    Finishing:
Sew 1" button onto the cozy on the opposite side of the strap's beginning. Weave in all loose ends.
