I have leftover cotton ball threads in cream, red, yellow, aqua, and lime green. So, I made them into a 9 inch x 8 inch bag using double crochet stitch in rows, the color bands vary in height. For the strap, I did a series of 6 double treble crochet stitch about 44 inches long. The base of the bag is 2 inches x 7 inches. In addition, I hand sew a golden yellow 8-inch zipper into the bag. I also hand sew the crochet bag and the lining together using a slip stitch. Colorful wooden beads, fancy sequins, fabric flowers and a key holder are additional embellishments to the bag.
