I made this SKULL BOX to use for a gift, but you could also use it as a jewelry box or treasure chest.

  • How to make a box. Skull Box - Step 1
    Step 1

Take your unfinished paper mache box, and paint the entire thing black (inside & out). Let it dry.

    Step 2

Using your box as a template, take your sharpie and outline the shape of the bottom of the box onto your tiger printed felt, so that you have 2 squares. Cut them both out, and make adjustments if needed (for example, cut it more to fit perfectly inside the lid and bottom of the box). Glue to inside top & bottom, and let it dry.

    Step 3

Take your cardboard skull cutout (mine is from 'Creative Imaginiations' - Skull & Crossbones Collection), and glue it to the outside top of the lid.
I also glued 4 screw stickers on the 4 corners on the top of the lid.
    Let it dry.

    Step 4

I put the lid on the box for positioning, and glued a lock sticker to the side of the box. Let it dry. You can seal with varnish if you'd like.
*I also glued a piece of plain black felt on the bottom.

Put in your gift or to store your personal items, jewelry, gold coins or loot.

    DONE!
