Made from a HUGE men's t-shirt and an obsession with Donnie Darko
This was an incredibly easy project, but pretty time consuming. One day I'll post a tutorial for the making of the jumpsuit - it was once an enormous t-shirt, the sleeves were cut off and used to make the shorts of the suit and the remaining shirt was fitted into a tank top & then the two parts sewn together :] There's sure to be plenty of fabric left over if you wanted to install pockets or whatever you like.
The skeleton I painted on by hand after the suit was made and it closes up the front of the ribcage with hook & eye ribbon.

How did you sew up the bottom bit to make it into shorts? I tried that with another project, and it all ruffled up and looked awful :/ loving the jumpsuit though! The most I've got is a skeleton top, and that's my fav t-shirt at the moment haha ^_^

Once you cut off the sleeves, the curve where they would have joined to the main body of the shirt is exactly the same as a simple shorts pattern. If you sew the curved edges together, then attach the two sleeves together by the remaining straight edge, it should all come together (or maybe I was just lucky with the shirt I used haha). Skeleton things can be so much fun c:

I love this way too much. I am now officially on the lookout for a black jumpsuit since my sewing machine is broken and I can't hand sew for crap..
