I started with a sheet of tissue paper that I cut into rectangles. It worked well. I then made some out of coffee filters. Those also worked beautifully. I hung a bunch on our tree and taped some to our front door. Cutting at different angles and differend shapes will give you a differet look.

Description

I started with a sheet of tissue paper that I cut into rectangles. It worked well. I then made some out of coffee filters. Those also worked beautifully. I hung a bunch on our tree and taped some to our front door. Cutting at different angles and differend shapes will give you a differet look.

Instructions

  1. Fold your paper circle in half.

  2. Fold the halved circle into thirds.

  3. Fold the thirds in half again.

  4. Cut the large folded edge off of your snowflake -- note: you will be cutting only one side of the dendrite so don't worry about the other side, you'll throw that away.

  5. Unfold carefully.
