Sinigang na baboy/ Pork sinigang
Sinigang is a traditional Filipino soup dish that is known for its sour flavour it is also one of the most popular dish in the Philippines dating way back since our spanish era. Its one of the favorite dishes of important people in our country like our national heroes and presidents.

It is most perfect to be served with hot rice on a rainy season.

  • How to cook a pork dish. Sinigang Na Baboy - Step 1
    Step 1

    Preparation of Ingredients.

    Slice the Pork and String beans to 2 in. small pieces.
    Onion and Tomato quartered.
    Slice Radish diagonally or circular.
    Separate leaves of water spinach and cut the stems to 2 in., remove hard parts.

  • Step 2

    Preparing the meat.

    Boil the Pork with onion for 20mins or until the fat and meat is tender.
    after the boiling is done you can either keep the pork broth or use new water for the next step.

    Mixing the ingredients.

    Put the tamarind mix and tomato with the pork w/ onions. Stir for a couple of minutes. Then put in radish, string beans and banana peppers, let it simmer for 10mins or until the radish is soft. Lastly put in the water spinach. simmer for 1-2mins then you're done!
