Instructions

  1. Small symbols 1308036373

First thing to do is to cut out around the following shapes on halved potatoes. Note that the 'N' is backwards as when it is turned around and printed it will be the right way around. The image shows what the finished stamps will look like too.

  2. Small t1 1308036416

Next take a piece of board - this can be any form of hard and thick material which will protect the other side of the shirt against paint like cardboard, or wood, or even a book wrapped in a few layers of scrap paper. Put this inside the t-shirt where you will be printing the motif. Now start printing. Firstly take the light blue paint and the small square stamp and stamp the squares in a repeating pattern as shown on this image.

  3. Small t2 1308036534

Now add the next three stamps to the shirt. Firstly take the rectangle and paint on dark green paint and print in the top left hand corner of the shirt. Next paint the bar pink and print it half way down on the right hand side horizontally. Last print the triangle in grey in the bottom right hand corner. See the picture for ideal locations.

  4. Small t3 1308036606

Now print on the lettering in pink. The first E covers some of the left hand upper of the rectangle. The Y is on the upper right hand side of the rectangle. The next E is after this Y. The leave a larger gap and print O and N.

  5. Small t4 1308036721

Now the tricky part. Take the orange paint and a fine paint brush and paint on the lettering "sprinfield" on the shirt from below the rectangle to the start of the triangle. Try spacing how many letters and how much space you have for each so you don't run out. Follow this picture or go to goole and search eye on springfield to get a more detailed picture.

  6. Finally take the fine black fabric pen and outline the letters in black. Then block them out, giving them shadows as shown. Now it is finished!
