2. 1. K2 *P2, K2, repeat from * to last stitch, P1 2. K1, P2, *K2, P2, repeat from * to end Repeat these 2 rows once

3. 1, Knit 2. Purl 3. *K2tog, yo, repeat from * to last stitch, K1 4. Purl 5. Knit

4. 1. K1, P2 *K2, P2, repeat from * to end 2. K2, *P2, K2, repeat from * to last stitch, K1 Repeat these 2 rows once Cast off

5. Cast on 30 stitches 1.* K2, P2, repeat from * to end Repeat this row 3 more times Cast off. Sew this piece of "elastic" to the main part of the headband (the ends should sit nicely between the ribbing on the main part)

6. If you like, add an embellishment such as a flower or bow.
