Flower Power :-) My First How To :-)
I was insipred to make this because my favourite headband snapped (sniff sniff) and i needed a new one. It's really simple to make and shouldn't take very long. I've made a few now but my favourite is still the first one i made, which is the red and black one, although i am liking the one i just made out of coloured hessian :-)
Sorry some of the photos are a bit dark but i'm not used to my new camera yet :-)

    Step 6

You only need to do this step if your felt was too short (i got A4 sheets of felt hence why i have to do it). Just get two of the long pieces and sew them together, needs to be neat cos you need to hide the stitches in the plait in the next step. Do this again until you have 3 long lengths.

    Step 7

Sew the 3 lengths together at the top.

    Step 9

Cut the elastic bobble so that you have a strip of elastic (or use a broken bobble like me, or normal elastic. Then pin it to the headband plait. Then sew the elastic to the band.(Check the fit before sewing both sides as i keep forgetting and ending up with a headband thats too big). The band is now complete.

Final Step sew the flower to the band, slightly to the side rather than in the middle.
