I made this for the Animal Swap with Michelle G. :) For those of you who don't know what they are.. they are just shaped rubber bands that people like to wear as bracelets. They have all sorts of shapes.. animals, sports, fairytale, words, almost anything you can think of. They are pretty cute too.. you just have to find the ones that suit your interests. Anyway, their popularity grew so quickly in the US that you would find them at any store. Children and adults were wearing them everywhere. Literally anywhere you went you saw people with them on. It wasn't long until some friends gave me some, I bought a couple packs, and started trading them. :p haha, it was fun for a little while but now they just sit in a bag.. SO I thought this project was pretty perfect. They're all animal bands and they are so cute. They would just be sitting all cooped up in a bag otherwise :/ I figured if she didn't want to use it as a necklace, she could open it and make it into a banner of some sort? or take off the bands and use them as stencils.
