First of all: Sorry for the bad quality of the photos. I knitted this little scarf last winter. It's very easy and I hope you will have fun with it!
You start with knitting a normal scarf that fits exactly around your neck. After you did this, you loose 3 knit stitches on both sides and knit again. The thinner part of the scarf is just for the decoration.
You finished knitting? Good. Now you sew three buttons to the scarf, just where you want it to be tight around your neck. It's for keeping your neck warm.
Now you add some fringes to the end of the thinner part of the scarf.
You can also add a few details. Here we have a little bow - yay And now you're done!
