The strong blue eye and red lip is quite a dare to wear look. But Shirley has it down to a T! I decided to have a go at it myself. My eyebrows are a completely different shape to Shirley but I added a red tint to them to pay homage to Shirley's red hair.

  • Estee Lauder Stay In Place Shadow Creme Eye Shadow in Blue Velvet
  • Sleek i-Divine in Ultra Matte V1 palette Purple Eyeshadow
  • MAC Atlantic Blue Eyeshadow

  • Maybelline the Colossal Go Extreme Leather Black Mascara

Steps (8 steps, 15 minutes)

  1. 1

    Apply Quite Natural by MAC all over eye area and underneath (avoiding brow bone area).

    Apply Benefit High Brow Pencil to brow bone area and to inner corner of eyes for highlight

  3. 3

    Apply Estee Lauder Stay In Place Shadow Creme in Blue Velvet to the eye. (Close to the lash line and on outer two third of lid). Blend out with small eyeshadow brush.

    Apply purple eyeshadow along bottom lash line (2/3rds in). I used the purple shadow from the Sleek i-Divine in Ultra Matte V1 palette.

    To make brows red brush a Barry M lip pencil (17) across brow hairs.

    MAC Atlantic Blue on top of the Estee Lauder Blue Velvet - to enhance the blue. Apply lots of mascara - I used Maybelline the Colossal Go Extreme Leather Black

    Apply MAC Ruby Woo for red lips

    Apply Blush - Max Factor Miracle Touch Creamy Blush
