Learned this in an art class over the summer. Works better with shaving cream that foams up straight from the can instead of gel that you have to mix. Not sure if you can use gel food coloring either, but go for it!
Learned this in an art class over the summer. Works better with shaving cream that foams up straight from the can instead of gel that you have to mix. Not sure if you can use gel food coloring either, but go for it!
Fill a shallow bowl with shaving cream, but only enough to fill the bottom.
As you can see in the picture above, mine was gel so I had to mix it with my finger
Grab your liquid food coloring! I only had red, yellow, and blue but you might be able to find other colors.
Put a couple drops of food coloring into the shaving cream. And remember, a little is a lot
Take your skewer and swirl around the colors and there are endless possibility's!
For my paper I used little sheets of card stock.
Lay your paper in the cream and press down LIGHTLY.
Pick your paper up and lay it face up on newspaper.
Take your ruler and scrap off all the shaving cream.
And VOILA! Beautiful paper made with shaving cream.
