I used gel food coloring and gel shaving cream and it worked great! I'll have to post my version if I get around to taking pictures. Love this project!

Absolutely fabulous! I've been wanting some abstract-ish art in my room, but it's so expensive! This is cheap and easy! I'll definitely post my version when I get to it. Thanks!

This technique is FAB !
I've tried it out and the result is amazing. No more need to spend bucks for something I can do now at home.
THANKS A LOT FOR SHARING. Have a nice day Happy

awesome idea! I tried on parchment paper because I do alot of artwork and mixed media so making your own paper is a plus! I didn't exactly follow your instructions, I just put it on the paper with my hands and used acrylic paint while I was putting the shaving cream on, dried quickly too! looks awesome and when I get my camera up and running again I'll post pic! again, awesome!

I tried it with acrylic paint mixed with water but it was hard to spread around so you couldn't control the pattern

Awesome project! I love marbling, but the cost and effort of doing the traditional method is such a PIA. I'm gonna have to try this with my kids!

This is a really great idea, but I was wondering: Do you scrape the shaving cream off after the paper is dry or when it's wet? Thanks for the tutorial. =)

This is such an awesome alternative to using actual marbleizing materials and oil paint. I like it! I'm going to have to try this soon.

First I just swirled it around and made a circle of color and then put my skewer in the middle and pulled outward.
