Shadow Magic uses diagonally knitted magic squares to create a 3D effect on the front of this cushion. Best results are achieved with very bright colours set against a white background and with pale grey shadows. The back of the cushion is made up of simpler squares which can be arranged to make various patterns.

You will need

10 g each of 16 colours of Stylecraft Special DK knitting yarn 20 g Silver in Stylecraft Special DK knitting yarn 100 g White Stylecraft Special DK knitting yarn 3 ¼ mm Knitting Needles 15 in Cushion Pad 14 in white zip
