The Serenity Prayer is a big help to those of us in the Al-Anon Family Groups. I wanted a reminder of it that I could carry with me every day. I'd intended making a keychain, but the plastic shrank quite a bit. I'll need a larger piece to make a keychain :) Figuring out the right sizes is going to take some work, and I'm sure there are some tutorials on this site that can be more accurate about it than I can. God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference. --Reinhold Niebuhr

Make sure the plastic you're going to use is clean and dry.
Assemble your stuff--plastic, scissors, sharpies. There are some things missing from this picture, like a hole punch or whatever else you're going to use.
Make sure the images you have fit the plastic :)
Cut out the shape of plastic that you want. Preheat the oven to 400F.
Print out your designs, or tape your plastic to your computer screen, as I did ;) Now trace. I traced the cougar paw in silver Sharpie, and traced the Serenity Prayer over that with black Sharpie. I was worried that the prayer wouldn't be readable, but it turns out that it is.
Cut the hole in your charm. It will be too thick to do so after the shrinking. I couldn't find my hole punch, so I used scissors and a paint brush handle. As you can see, it ripped the plastic a little.
Trim, adjust, etc.
Place in oven. Watch it! It only takes a few seconds. If your oven isn't preheated yet, give it another five minutes and go make a cake.
You can see here how much the plastic shrinks :)
All done!
