I read how to make clay beads in a bookstore, and I tried my own version..coz I don't really like to follow books. but it turns out nice :)

Instructions

1. prepare 3 different colors of clay, make them like a basic pencil/worm shape. you can do it by grilling them with your hands. don't make them too big because the beads won't be too nice. do the same for the 3 colors, make sure they have the same size

2. braid them together and re-grill until they are all mixed and have a smooth surface

3. cut them with sharp and thin knife.

4. circle them by hand, one by one. but if you like flatened shape you can skip this step and directly made holes through the beads with needles (to make sure you can use it as normal beads and not just like a marble without hole)

5. make sure each holes are clear enough without pieces of clay inside, then dry them. or bake them if you use oven baked clay. mine is air dry clay, so I spray them with transparent pylox to make them waterproof

6. redry them and your selfmade clay beads are ready :)
