This valentine takes only minutes to complete, but is very effective in spite of its simplicity. It can be used as a note card or pasted into a scrapbook. One sheet of colored printing paper can be cut into two 51⁄2” squares to provide two valentines. If the paper is patterned on only one side, begin with the lighter side facing up.

Instructions

    Fold the square in half both ways. Unfold the paper each time.

    Fold the four corners to meet in the center of the paper.

    Fold the four corners to meet in the center of the paper.

    Cut a heart from the red or pink paper. Glue it to one of the corners of the folded square.

    The completed “Seal It with a Heart” Valentine. Tip Writing the Message For fun, open the valentine and write your message divided into five parts: one part in the center square and four brief parts on the triangular flaps.
