Sea Salt Spray

The list of ingredients is only a suggestion. Every hair is different and because of that you may need to adjust them.
The Black Tea darkens your hair, but only a little bit. It would take several times to see an effect, but you could replace it with water, if you want.
The measurements of Oil and Salt will probably need to be customized. I tried different ways of mixing those together, but it was very difficult. This version suits my hair best. It could be that it dries your hair or makes it oily, if you use too much / few of salt or oil.
The Hair gel is for unmanageable hair.
The Perfume is also optional. In case you don't like the spray's smell.
The Lemon juice causes highlights and the alcohol solidifies them.
The Leave-In Conditioner is only for some extra care.

If you have light hair, see my tutorial "Sea Salt Spray For Light Hair" or simply replace Black Tea with Camomile Tea.

You Will Need (9 things)

  • Spray Bottle
  • 500 ml Black Tea
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil You could also use Coconut or Walnut Oil.
  • 5 tbsp Sea Salt
  • Hair Gel
  • Perfume
  • Lemon Juice
  • Vodka
  • Leave-In Conditioner

Steps (3 steps, 15 minutes)

  1. 1

Put all ingredients together and stir. So the salt dissolves a little.

  2. 2

Put it through a hopper into the spray bottle and store it in the fridge. Otherwise it could go mouldy after some days / weeks.

    And you're done!

  3. 3

Before using it: Always stir or shake it so lees will dissolve.

I also published a tutorial on how to use it to get really wavy hair.
