You Will Need (6 things)

  • Sewing Machine
  • Needle And Thread
  • Small piece of sturdy Fabric (I used fabric of an old pair of jeans)
  • Small piece of faux leather Fabric in 2 different colors (I used black and orange)
  • Small piece of Velcro
  • 1 Snap Button(s)

Steps (25 steps, 180 minutes)

  1. 1

First take a look at the pattern with measurements I made and check the pictures

  2. 2

Cut 2x A out of the black faux leather

  3. 3

Pin the A pieces good sides facing

  4. 4

Now sew all sides, except 3/4 of the smaller left side and cut away extra fabric. Turn the piece -good side out- (take a pen to help the corners) and put it aside

  5. 5

Cut B out of the orange faux leather

  6. 6

Cut C,D,E, F and G out of the sturdy fabric and sew the edges as described in the measurement instructions

  7. 7

Pin D onto C, align the right sides of the pieces and good side facing you

  8. 8

Now sew the right side of CD

  9. 9

Pin CD onto the right side of B. Align the top and sew the top of CD on B. The right side and bottom of CD will be a bit bigger then B (that is ok)

  10. 10

Take F and E and pin and sew the right side of F on the right, bottom side of E

  11. 11

Now make folds in F (lengthwise) on 2 cm of the edges so it will become a pocket

  12. 12

Pin F onto E, the folds should make F as wide as E

  13. 13

Sew the bottom (about 8 cm from top of F) of FE

  14. 14

    14. Take one side of the Velcro and sew it on F, top middle

  15. 15

Now you can also sew the left side of F on E

  16. 16

Take G, this is the flap (make sure it is fits the pocket you just made, about 8.5 cm wide, after seaming), and sew the other side of the Velcro on the back bottom of G, in the middle

  17. 17

Pin G on E, above the pocket (F) so the Velcro pieces fit perfectly

  18. 18

Now sew the top of G on E

  19. 19

Take EFG and pin and sew the top of EFG on B, about 2 cm left from CD. I sewed it 2 cm under the top, so the orange fabric is still visible (check the picture)

  20. 20

BCDEFG is ready to be attached to the A pieces you made earlier

  21. 21

Place the good side of BCDEFG on A (A has two good sides) and pin the left, right and bottom side in a way the top is about 1.5 cm below the top of A (top is were both sides of A are sewn)

  22. 22

Now sew, carefully, close to the edge

  23. 23

Cut away some excess fabric close to the seam and turn it good side out

  24. 24

Decide where the press button should come and sew it, with a whip stitch on the inside of B and A

  25. 25

    Go and shine!!
