A Scottish Terrier plushie!

I found this pattern online with no directions. Redrew it, and thought to upload it after I made one, so I could share my find! Sorry for the lack of pictures of it, I thought to upload after. Instead I circled or marked where to work on the pattern itself. Mine looks a bit wrinkled, I am guessing mostly because I didnt stuff completely full, it was flimsy fabric, and I was watching a movie while I hand sewed.

Description

I found this pattern online with no directions. Redrew it, and thought to upload it after I made one, so I could share my find! Sorry for the lack of pictures of it, I thought to upload after. Instead I circled or marked where to work on the pattern itself. Mine looks a bit wrinkled, I am guessing mostly because I didnt stuff completely full, it was flimsy fabric, and I was watching a movie while I hand sewed.

Instructions

  1. Small scottie pattern 1255645980

So, here's your pattern. You will need 2 of the body, 2 of the underbody, and 1 of the ears. Everything will be sewn with the right sides in until we flip it around.

  2. Small scottie 1 1255646895

First, sew the long sides of the underbelly together.

  3. Small 2009 10 15 14.30.00 1255646957

After these are sewn, sew the underbelly to either side of the scotty body itself. I worked on the legs first, so I would know exactly where it led up on the body. Oh, and let inquisitive kittens play with your stuffed animal. They appreciate it.

  4. Small scottie 2 1255646834

Next, sew the fabric which doubles your ears. I worked on the pointed ends of the ears first, to make sure everything matched up. The long peice of the ears matches to the forehead, and the smaller end goes down the back of the ears. Once this is done, I sewed the rest of the head together and the tail, leaving only the back of the dog open, so I could turn him around and stuff him.

  5. Small 2009 10 15 14.29.35 1255647078

Once the dog is turned around and stuffed, sew the back together. Once this is sewn, you can sew on your eyes. Then youre done!
