About
Sweetheart dress with front and back cutouts
I Frankensteined together three patterns to make this-- the back and armholes from Butterick 5919, the front bodice from Simplicity 4070, and the skirt fro Butterick 5882. I also lowered the neckline, shortened the bodice and the skirt, and added a waist stay and a couple of decorative buttons. The straights seams are French seamed, and the curved ones are hand overcast.
