Scented Rainbow Hearts

This is a really simple project. I cut out 14 hearts - 7 from different spotty fabrics and 7 from matching plain fabrics. Sew them together with matching thread in a backstitch, turn the right way round and iron. I then tied a knot in matching embroidery thread and sewed up through the fabric join at the top of the heart and into the next heart at the tip, tying a knot and pulling. I stuffed the hearts with dried lavender and sewed up. I made some individual ones too. They are for my hall cupboard where we keep all the shoes!!
