It can be hard to exercise in the winter when the weather is cold. These double-layered scalloped ear warmers are the perfect solution. They keep your ears nice and warm and don't get in the way of your pony tail.

Cut two pieces of fleece that are 4" x 24". I cut along the stretchy direction of the fleece for ease.
On the wrong side of one piece of fleece, you need to trace the headband pattern. You can download the template from my website, or you can make your own. Scallops are just half circles, so you can used a small can to draw them on. [I just flipped my template to trace the other side] Taper the ends of the headband to 1.5".
Pin the fleece right sides together. Sew right on the pattern lines you drew in step 2, leaving a 2" opening along one of the straight edges for turning. Remember to back stitch! Shortening your stitch length will help sew around the curves.
Trim seam allowance to 1/8". Snip points in between scallops, careful not cut the stitches. Clip corners.
Turn ear warmer right side out. Use a point turner or a chopstick to poke out the scallops. Press well. Topstitch 1/8" away from the edge all around.
Cut 1.5"-2" pieces of hook & loop fastener. Sew onto the opposite sides of your ear warmers to fasten. And that's it!
